T'ai Chi is an adaptable system of movement working on postural, physiological and psychological processes of the body improving co-ordination and body movement whilst using 96% of all muscle groups of the body. It has been used for centuries to optimise health and well being and is very adaptable for all age groups due to its versatility and ability to adapt to the individual.
"I enjoy Tai Chi and wish that I had started lessons years ago. I feel better after class both physically and mentally." (TAO student)
"T’ai Chi helps me to motivate my limbs with ease and get around more freely. The breathing exercise helps me to relax. I also enjoy the friendly atmosphere in the group sessions." (TAO student and MS sufferer)
Feng Shou (Hand of the Wind) is a system of Kung Fu. It is an internal form of Chinese martial arts being both dynamic and fluid utilizing kicks, punches, locks, throws, controls and grappling. It is suitable for both male and female, young and old and is very adaptable to competition in both light and full-contact sparring.
