I've loved writing and theatre for as long as I remember. I now love sharing them with students of all ages and all levels of experience.
I am a member of the Directory of LAMDA Teachers (I finished my LSDE in 2012) and took my MA in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University in 2007, just after winning the Promis Prize for Children's Literature. In 2014 I began my PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Hull.
I continue to work as a writer, director and performer (see RachelKnightley.com) and teach in Central London with The Complete Creative Writing Course. I am resident Speech and Drama teacher to various schools, running LAMDA, lunchtime and after-school clubs, and a former senior tutor of the Questors Youth Theatre where I am currently directing 'The Wolves of Willoughby Chase' (18-21 March 2015).
I also run "writers' gyms" in cafes and private homes, providing groups with exercises, stimulus and structured writing time to bring all kinds of projects to faster fruition.
