Rebecca Bates

I am a classically trained Grade 8 pianist who has been playing for 22 years and has a wealth of teaching and performing experience. In the last 12 years I have focused on honing my skills in original composition to compliment performing in various bands, spending the last 4 years fronting an original all female folk band called Matilda. I have several years teaching experience including everything from beginners to more experienced pianists as well as teaching groups and small classes. I enjoy adapting my teaching style depending on the individual and teaching classical as well as songwriting.
