Bath Guitar School is Bath’s only dedicated rock and pop guitar school specialising in one to one guitar tuition in either electric or acoustic guitar. Each lesson is tailored to suit each students individual taste and ability; offering a fresh and innovative approach to learning the guitar.
We offer tuition at all levels; from complete beginner through to advanced, in all styles and welcome students of all ages! Our guitar lessons are customised to suit you, covering the music you want to learn. Students can choose, if they wish, to study the accredited Rockschool grade syllabus and achieve certification of their playing.
The Bath Guitar School offers its students unique opportunities to attend guitar workshops, take part in performances at the renowned Bath International Music Festival, free guitar lesson video recaps via YouTube, and fantastic guitar holiday experiences across Europe.
Tutor Profile: RICHARD PERKINS
Richard Perkins is one of Bath's most popular guitar teachers, with 9 years guitar teaching experience there is a wealth of knowledge to be passed on to any guitarist young or old. Richard graduated from Bath Spa University with a degree in Commercial Music and received a Higher Diploma in Popular Music at Oxford College. Richard is also a guitar faculty member for the International Guitar Foundation [IGF] where he teaches the annual Acoustic Apprentice and Monsters of Rock courses. He has also examined for Rockschool and taught in schools for BANES Music Service.

Monsters of Rock Band Workshop
The Monsters of Rock band workshop is designed to give guitarists between the ages of 10 and 18 the opportunity to play together with other musicians and encourage learning whilst performing together as a band.
In addition to this workshop there will also be an opportunity for younger guitarists to take part in an hour-long Rock Band Experience class. This workshop will cater for the under 10s and/or students who have less than 1-years playing experience.
