I have been teaching the guitar for 25 years in the Wolverhampton area.Before that,I had played in a variety of bands since the early 70's,notably, touring and recording from 1979 to 1985 with a degree of success in the band "DARK STAR". Two albums were released by the band. Dark Star toured extensively in Great Britain and toured Europe as guests on the Alvin Lee tour. I am still playing regularly in the midlands area with a classic Rock band called "Jack Daniels". My teaching is based on my years of playing and recording experience,rather than just teaching "Grades". I prefer people to learn how the guitar is really played! In my experience,people prefer that to a certificate that "says" they can play!
