Stage Combat is a valuble, useful, and above all fun skill for any actor, acting student or potential actor to learn.
Rob is a Certified Teacher with the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat. Our syllabus weapon systems are: Unarmed Combat, Rapier & Dagger, Single Sword, Broadsword, Smallsword, Quarterstaff and Knife.
A range of courses and workshops are available, from short courses and workshops to full BASSC courses, culminationg in a Fight Performance Test. The full Basic course covers Unarmed Combat and Rapier & Dagger and requires 60 hours contact teaching time. Students with their Basic Certificate can then take courses in any other weapon, which require 25 hours.
In addition, there is a Junior Grade Award course for students between 14 - 16 years, covering Unarmed and Single Sword and taking place over 30 hours.
