Sam Naef
Hi there,
For the winter season I was chosen to teach the GB junior skiers their math & sciences out in Austria while they do the competitions. I have a considerable amount of knowledge and experience for all syllabus' teaching a very wide range of people.
I have been tutoring for over a year now since I graduated with a Physics 2:1 from the University of Sussex. I have since achieved very high results from all of my pupils (please see reference for example.)
I tutor Maths and Physics in GCSE, A-Level, International baccalaureate and some university courses. In addition I teach Chemistry & Biology at GCSE and also piano & guitar.
I believe I am a natural teacher, finding it interesting to figure out how the pupil learns best while having the skills to communicate and teach in a friendly, easy manner. I also try and ensure that the fundamental concepts and the reasons for their teachings are really understood, as these are usually the most interesting and vital parts!
Thanks,
Samuel Naef

Sam started helping our son Callum who is dyslexic, with some Physics Revision for his GCSE at the beginning of 2010. It made a big difference to his learning and understanding of the subject. Callum related to Sam easily, and his manner and approach was perfect. He ensured that the basic foundations on which everything is built was there, and then went onto revise the main topics. Since the success earlier in the year, we are now using Sam with both Chemistry, Maths and Statistics and he has built up a great relationship with Callum, and he has a fantastic way of explaining things and also running through past papers has been excellent. I am confident that Sam’s help will definitely raise Callum’s grades, and would happily recommend him for GCSE and A-Level tutoring.
