Simon Rafferty
Hi, my name's Simon, I'm currently in my final year of study for my Maths M.A. at Cambridge University. I offer private tutoring in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, and have experience teaching these subjects at all levels. I have most experience tutoring A-level students, but am happy to teach you whatever you are studying for. I am also able to offer tuition for the STEP entrance exam for the Cambridge maths course, as well as Guitar, Piano and Violin.
I hold four A grades at A level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry) and achieved full marks in all of my Physics modules. At GCSE, I achieved ten A* grades, and received an award for the best mark in the country for Physics. I also have Grade 8 Merits in Piano, Violin and Guitar. I have a relaxed and friendly attitude towards tutoring, but will also expect my tutees to work hard!
Services
THE SMALL PRINT
All rates £20.00 p.h. except degree-level Maths tuition, all music tuition and adult learning tuition, for which I charge £25.00 p.h. I prefer to tutor sessions of minimum 2 hours (except music tuition) but can offer shorter sessions if the travel distance is short.
