The London Swing Dance Society was founded in 1986 by Simon Selmon and is one of the major forces in the UK in promoting Swing Dance & Lindy Hop. The LSDS promotes, organizes and encourages swing dance events, classes and performances in London and throughout the UK and have been featured many times in film, TV and publications. Simon and his team, the Sugar Foot Stompers, teach regular adult drop-in Lindy Hop classes in and around central London, regularly visits schools teaching children different dances from the 1920s to 50s, and performs for a wide variety of corporate clients, festivals and charities.

About Simon Selmon

Simon has choreographed and performed for stage, film, video and television and written two books on Swing dancing.

He is a UK and American dance champion and has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines.

He founded the London Swing Dance Society in 1986, the UK's biggest and longest running swing dance club, as well as the famous Stompin' Swing Nights at London's legendary 100 Club.
