What is 'good singing'?

'Good singing' is very subjective and I never push my opinion on my pupils, or to sing in any particular style or genre. Once I have shown you how to sing with correct technique, and you are happy with the way your voice sounds, I can help you to stylise your voice any way you like.
Do you have a new repertoire of songs that you would like to learn how to sing?

A song can be covered in many different ways. Instead of imitating the original singer it is best to tailor the song to fit your individual style. We can work through your whole repertoire of songs so that you are happy with the style you are singing, and the expression you are using.

School of rock

I have taught and sung a broad range of musical genres, including hard rock, heavy metal, folk, classical and opera (romantic and late classical).
Music theory

Some of my colleagues specialise in music theory, so would refer you to them if you are keen to learn to read music. If you are looking for a more theoretical approach then please call or email me and I will put you in touch with the appropriate teacher.

Just for fun...

This option is very popular. We live only once, so why not enjoy every minute of life, perhaps with a singing teacher. You can enjoy yourself whilst also learning some singing skills. You may develop yourself and your voice skills, or just gain the confidence to perform and who knows, people may love your voice. But the main point is you will enjoy yourself.

I usually accompany my pupils on the guitar or piano.
