I am a prospective first year Economics degree student starting from September. I have successfully completed my GCSEs ranging from all A*-B . I have recently completed my A-levels which are predicted to range from A*-B in History, Maths, Economics and Philosophy.

Currently I have started my own home business specialising in fashion retail after gaining my experience from working with a big fashion retailer for a year.

I am a really enthusiastic about studies and strive for perfection in all the responsibilities which are handed to me. I enjoy working with young people and understand that organisation is key alongside adaptation to meet each tutees needs.

Tutoring Experience:
I have previously worked in Emberhurst School as a voluntary teachers assistant for 6 months and have worked with various ages of children. This has allowed me to understand the patience and the attitude needed to handle many situations.

Also I have a younger brother which I have helped and tutored throughout his schooling. This has grown my confidence in my ability to tutor and work with young people.

I have been involved in many roles such as a Peer Mediator in secondary school where I dealt with children in the age range of 10-12 in order to help them settle in. Additionally I have also taken on the role of a Student Ambassador where I communicated effectively with parents which helped me understand what they want for their children.
Tutoring Approach:
I understand that tutoring requires for the tutor to have confidence in their tutee as well as understanding that no two flowers blossom the same way; neither do two children learn in the same way. Therefore I believe that one to one tutoring should always be tailored in order to understand the tutees strengths and weaknesses.

As a student I know what is required for exam success and want to boost anyone I can help to achieve it. This will involve regular assignments and homework as practice is needed to develop the tutees skills.

Furthermore receiving regular feedback for parents as well as tutees is vital in order to keep track of progress as well as understanding what stage the tutee is on. I am available to work any time until September then September onwards I would be only offering weekend tutoring.
