Do you worry about how to prepare a speech for an audition, be it for drama school or for a professional job? Do you wish you could easily unlock the secrets of an apparently impenetrable piece of Shakespeare?
If your answer to these questions is yes, please read on...
Steve Watts is an actor, musician, singer and teacher. He has a Bachelor of Education (Hons.) and taught full-time for five years before training for the stage; he now combines teaching with a busy performance career.

Steve passes on old-school, no-nonsense technique. Through repetition of straight-forward physical exercises, the student develops a set of skills and a thorough grasp of his/her craft, ensuring that nothing is left to chance in performance and allowing the unique creativity of the individual to take flight, whilst always respecting and putting over the writer's intention.
'Drama teaching has lost its way; great actors are first and foremost great craftsmen. Sadly, the skills of the great stage actors are dying out as acting-for-telly has become the focus for drama-school training and untrained 'celebrities' are 'having a go at some acting' as if it doesn't really require any skill. It is rare and refreshing to find a quality teacher of old-school craft like Steve Watts; study with him and you will truly learn the meaning of technique.'
'Steve has always been a enormously popular and inspirational teacher; he has a warm, sunny personality and a gentle, nurturing approach to teaching, always taking great care to focus on each individual student's own path of learning.'
