Beginners Tai Chi for Over 50's
These are on going beginner classes. We learn authentic Tai Chi but learn at a slower pace than our regular classes.
As long as you are fit enough to stand up for an hour, you are fit enough to join in. Tai Chi helps to strengthen legs, improve balance and posture.
We learn a Short Foundation form giving the basic principals of Tai Chi. We also enjoy exploring some qigong movements, which combine breathing and movement and relaxation.
Wild Goose Qigong
Beginners 10.45 - 11.30 £7
Improvers 10.45 - 12.15 £10
Following a warm-up routine, we begin the lovely movements of the Wild Goose 1st 64 form. Each week we add on the next set of postures until we have worked our way through this self healing, self nurturing form.
After the beginners have finished we continue into the Improvers session with the movements of the 2nd 64.
