Tristan Watson
My degree focused on performance, composition, theory and analysis. I was given a first class grading for my final recital as well as receiving a university award for contribution to music making. Following my undergraduate studies I furthered my education by taking a masters degree in composition.
As a performer I have played for two years with the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain. Over my four years at university I successfully gained a place in the university symphony orchestra under the direction of Mark Eager. As well as a vast knowledge of the solo clarinet repertoire I also have performed music from all genres in the orchestral repertoire.
I am happy to teach people of all ages. I will happily travel around the area to give lessons where suits you best. Although I live in the York/Selby area, I also work in Leeds so can travel around a large area of North, South and West Yorkshire to teach lessons. I aim to make lessons fun and engaging.
