Spanish lessons at the Pub of year
Learn spanish in a relax and fun atmosphere at the pub of the year 2011-2013. The qualified, native teacher will focus on a colloquial and natural Spanish, using culture and games.
I'm a qualified teacher of Spanish (both in Spain and UK) with experience in private tuition and language academies. As a private tutor I think it's very important to offer a personalized education centered on the needs of each student or small group, and that's how I teach.
Qualifications and experience:
I have a Masters in teaching in secondary and languages education (PGCE) and a Spanish-as-a-foreign-language teacher training course at CLIC, a language academy member of the International House world organisation, the title of which is recognized by the University of Barcelona.
I also have experience teaching to different levels, ages and nationalities at intensive short-term, long-term and private spanish courses and cultural activities.
The philosophy:
I believe that teaching spanish is much more than teaching a bunch of grammar rules, it's teaching our art, gastronomy, our understanding of life… in short, our culture.
I use a communicative approach to the language, so grammar is always in context and at the service of real communication skills.
I like to focus on the objectives and needs of each student or small group. In the first lesson I will give you a level test and a content negotiation where you can tell me what grammar and cultural topics you are more interested in and how you prefer to learn them. You are the protagonist of your own education!
To teach in the best possible way I use a wide range of activities that I myself prepare to fit you.

In order to create a small group the students should be at the same level.
I can also offer a discount depending on the number of hours per week.
