A village hall in Tattenhall, near Chester, Cheshire. It is a lovely old building, just over 100 years old, part red brick and part black and white at the top. There are a variety of rooms available from a large main hall, a medium sized meeting room (up to 50 people seated theatre style) to 2 small meeting rooms which will take 18 and 12 respectively. The smaller meeting rooms have been refurbished and there are 2 kitchens (accessible by all rooms).

The Barbour Institute is on the High St in the centre of the village of Tattenhall where there are 4 pubs/restaurants within easy walking distance, each offering different types of food including chinese, thai and English. It is a charming village with plenty of green space around. The village hall is next to a wildlife meadow. A convenience store that coffee shop sell sandwiches up to 100 yards away and the coffee shop regularly make buffet lunches for meetings at the Barbour Institute. There is a new access ramp at the front of the building, a disabled toilet and babychanging facilities on site. There is parking for c15 cars on the front, 10 in the overspill car park in the wildlife meadow and plenty of street parking outside, as well as car parks off the High St. Licensed premises for alcohol, music and films. A fantastic caretaker who sets the room up just how you would like it. There is a digital projector and laptop to hire, as well as a projector stand, small and large screens available at no cost to hire if using a meeting room. Refreshments can be set out for self serve.
