Teynham Community Hall is a well established and much loved hall which has served the village for over 40 years. It is suitable for all types of functions for up to 100 persons with tables and for dancing or 150 persons standing or close seated. Such events could. include learning and training events;

More Details
The Main Hall is approximately 7.8m wide x 17.5m long with a polished sprung maple wood floor suitable for dancing. Chairs and tables are provided.
There is a 7.5m wide x 3.7m deep raised stage suitable for theatrical functions and shows. Dressing room facilities may be obtained by temporarily partitioning off the side alcove of the hall adjacent to the stage. Access to the stage is via two sets of stairs as shown in the above photograph. There is a piano for use.
There is a kitchen and serving area to the side of the hall. There are work surfaces, a sink unit and an island work area. The Hall can provide cups saucers, plates and spoons for tea, coffee and cakes etc. For larger functions crockery and cutlery may be hired from caterers/hire companies as required. This is currently a microwave oven, two hot water urns and two under counter refrigerators.
There is a separate bar area with a serving hatch into the hall. If a licensed bar is required details how to do this will be supplied when you book. The Hall has a Premises Licence, the conditions of which must be adhered to.
There is only a very small car park, which it would be suggested is left available for disabled parking. Car parking is available along the nearby side roads. Please park safely with consideration to local residents. Do not block drives or access paths.
