Riverton Hall is home to 1st Pitsea & Vange Scout Group (the oldest scout group in Basildon). The hall is a block built, two storey building with plenty of space for a wide range of learning and activities.
Built in the early 80's, the hall is undergoing a refurbishment program that so far has cost £30,000 and has given us a beautiful new kitchen, double glazed windows, drop ceiling and lighting, and soon to be installed security lighting and new external doors. The program is planned to continue with a complete redecoration and a refit of our conference room and downstairs kitchen.

We have two halls, two kitchens, toilet facilities and a small conference room.

There is parking on site for 4 cars and parking out front in a lay-by for another 3.
We have large grounds at the rear of the property that is grassed, with trees and shrubs.
As this is a scout hall, scouting activities must always come first, but we plan well in advance so there is plenty of space for non-scouting use. :-)
