    this is a nice site that you can use to transpose guitar tunings and chords into uke chords.

    in festive style the above link is for band aids 'do they know its christmas'.

    chords only, i'm working on my own embelishments to uke it up properly but this is a great starting place.

    some quite good tabs here - download to pdfs which is nice.

    the list includes a version of 'imagine' which can be uked-up with some inappropriately furious strumming...

    Learn While My Ukulele Gently Weeps

    This guy is, of course, the daddy. I've been looking around for tabs and people who can show me how to play this song, and here's the best I've found so far: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=y3avcHBZ4xY

    Ukulele heroes

    My friend John and I are going to become YouTube ukulele heroes.

    Because:
    a) it's easier than starting a band (no drummers); and
    b) we have the perfect blend of competence and incompetence

    Setlist so far includes:
    * No Surprises
    * All Along the Watchtower
    * Two Princes (just need to nail the solo)
    * Brown Eyed Girl

    Now working on:
    * Johnny B. Goode
    * Are You Gonna Go My Way
    * Stairway to Heaven
    * Under the Bridge
    * Ukin' On A Prayer
    * No Whippet, No Cry
    * Black Dog (no, really)
    * Hey Ya

    Suggestions welcome!

    Musicians' social network with free sheet music

    Just stumbled on 8Notes, a UK-based social network for musicians. You can upload your own music, share and download sheet music, and talk to other musicians via a lively forum.

    They have a good-sized collection of not very printable musician jokes too. When I was learning classical violin many, many moons ago it was always viola jokes - from a quick glance round it looks like nothing much has changed...
