PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE ON MATERNITY LEAVE FROM EASTER 2016 UNTIL OCT 2016 BUT THE BELOW CLASSES HAVE BEEN COVERED AND SO PLEASE DO FEEL FREE TO ATTEND OVER THE SUMMER.
I am a fully qualified, Level 3 trained and insured Pilates instructor, with over 9 years of experience. I love teaching Pilates as it is such an effective, envigorating and rehabilitative exercise. I teach mainly mat-based classes, one to ones, Postnatal and antenatal Pilates, however i also use small equipment such as Medicine balls, swiss balls, foam roller, resistance bands and pilates circle.
Pilates increases your strength (mainly Throughout your core - your stomach and your back) your muscle tone, your flexibility and your concentration and relaxation levels. It is mainly mat-based and can help in rehabilitation of many back problems/injuries.

One-to-one lessons
Group Classes
Pilates classes all levels welcome
Pilates is a great, effective exercise that strengthens your core - tummy and back - lengthens your muscles, tones, relaxes, focuses the mind and improves flexibility.
It is mainly mat-based and the mats are provided.
It is great for rehabilitation (doctors notes may be required)or new exercisers and is a good mix of strengthening and relaxing. It is also a great form of exercise to add to an existing exercise programme.
Drop in and see how you like it.. i'm sure you wont be disappointed.

POSTNATAL Pilates benefits:
There are enormous benefits of doing Pilates postnatally, even if it is just one class per week, which is realistically is all that new mums can manage. The postnatal period is very important time for a new mother's health where the body continues to be vulnerable due to hormonal changes that have occurred during pregnancy and continue to have an effect on the body and mind.
This Postnatal Pilates Class focuses on a new mum's journey back to her pre-pregnancy body in a safe and sensible way. Each mum is different and each birth is different, therefore we will spend a little time in the first session assessing your requirements and your abdominal integrity (whether these muscles have separated and if so by how much). Our focus during the class continues to be correct postural alignment, breathing and engagement of deep stabilising muscles (Pelvic Floor and Transversus Abdominals) prior to movement. Postnatal Pilates is designed to strengthen, repair and realign after birth, working ‘inside out’.
