Through a mindful practise of Yoga, Divya aims to help her students develop a stronger body, calmer mind and core sense of self.

Divya teaches, and encourages a ‘mindful’ yoga practise; refining one’s attention and developing one’s self awareness. In this way, through the vehicle of yoga students can cultivate deep insight about themselves, and their environment.

Through such self-discovery, we find and create a stronger connection not only to our inner values but to the world around us.

Experience

Yoga Teacher

Over the last decade, I’ve experienced the strong discipline of eastern yoga teacher training, been inspired by some great practitioners teaching here in London, and worked my way through a series of foundation, intermediate and advance teaching courses.

My practise and teaching combines a keen focus on alignment, a mix of Yin (long, deep held poses) and Yang (dynamic movement), and variance in rhythm and intensity, depending on need and context.

-British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Diploma
-International Yoga Alliance Yoga Instructor
(Intermediate-Advance level registered)
-Yoga Therapy, Yoga India
-Yin Yoga & Mindfulness, Rishikesh, India
