Kim works independently and as part of The Great Caper to reintroduce traditional English dance and seasonal customs into mainstream education and enjoyment, the main focus being on Morris dancing. On a voluntary basis she runs Ashley's Rise Junior Morris, a performing Morris side for young people aged 8-16yrs and one of the only independent junior sides in the country. Along side this Kim runs adult Morris classes for fitness and fun, workshops for schools - pupils and teachers - as well as short and longer term projects.

Adults (16+) 2-4pm

In both workshops we will look at what a Wassail is, sing some wassail songs and do some dancing. Juniors - Find out who will be the Wassail Queen!

Morris dancing for fitness and fun

Morris dancing for fitness and fun (age 16+). No partner or experience needed. No performance element. Sticks and hankies provided. The class rotates between Border, Cotswold and North West Morris. Small friendly group. Come and have a go!

Lead Tutor Dinosaurs Not Allowed

Dinosaurs Not Allowed is a London 2012 Inspire Mark project. Kim Woodward has been the lead tutor throughout the project. She is an Event Producer for the Maritime Mix 2012, London 2012 Cultural Olympiad event.
