Grandmaster Nick Smart
Nick Smart's pursuit of excellence has taken him all over the world. He has conducted countless seminars in his 16 associated countries. He has featured in national and international media, not for self-promotion, but for the purpose of extolling the virtues of this wonderfully clever and accessible art. He published the book "Wing Chun" in 1998 with Milan Prosenica.
"Autodefence Wing Chun differs from most pastimes in that it provides fully integrated physical and mental stimulation, restoring that child-like excitement of self-discovery left behind in our youth". What people find appealing about Nick is his pragmatic approach. Disappointed in the sensationalism, co-dependence and arrogance evident within modern martial arts, he promotes the original purpose of the arts: to build confidence, self-esteem and character.
