Easy to follow explanations of how to feel the energy flow through tai chi practice and each class builds on knowledge gained so far to develop stronger body presence and balance. As is the way with tai chi, students find they make greater progress week by week when the mind is quiet and unassuming. Each class reflects the energies of the day and brings forth a sense of joy and celebration.

Tai chi basics
We will focus on tai chi basics, learning the Chen style tai chi 19th Form, covering areas such as posture, centring and balance.
This is a stepping into the journey toward understanding the principles of tai chi through easy to follow instructions.
Through thoughtfulness, patience, and focus we will explore the basics and the class will create together a fun and harmonious learning environment.
The class atmosphere is relaxed, buoyant and hard working. Comments from students include "i have had the best night's sleep for years following the class" and "I feel incredibly relaxed at the end of the night"
You may be surprised to learn that as you develop your understanding in class that the Chen style becomes both powerful and invigorating.
The class aims to teach a Form that can be easily learnt and then practiced anywhere at anytime.
