I teach tai chi, meditation and qi gong all over London. I offer great teaching and the very best tai chi practice rooted in traditional Wu style.
I run a drop-in class for beginners every Saturday afternoon between 2.15pm and 3.45pm at YogaHaven in Clapham Old Town. And I also run free classes in London’s parks through the spring and summer. Details on my website (http://www.taichiinthepark.co.uk/?page_id=161) and on Twitter (http://twitter.com/taichiinthepark).
I am qualified and registered as an Advanced Grade Instructor with the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain (TCUGB) [http://www.taichiunion.com/]. This comes after ten years studying under Sifu Gary Wragg, one of the founders of the TCUGB, an international tai chi champion and head of the Wu style in the UK.
I teach kids of six and adults in their sixties. One of my students, who's just turned 70, is particularly proud he can put on his socks while standing on one leg -- an easy way to impress his less-elastic friends. And I'm very proud to be working with Kids Company, running tai chi classes for primary school children in Hackney.
I'm also a parent governor at my local primary school, a Trustee of On Theatre [http://www.on-theatre.org.uk] and a Trustee of the INN Foundation [http://www.innlondon.org/].

Tai chi and meditation for beginners
Classes include tai chi and meditation to leave your body energised and your mind refreshed.
Tai chi offers a deep and energising workout for the body and builds vitality, peace of mind and longevity. As well as improving suppleness, posture and core strength, it tones muscle, reduces unwanted fat and stimulates circulation. It’s designed to relax and stimulate every part of the body. It's great for back pain and stress-related muscular tension and can also help weight loss by regulating your metabolism.
Tai Chi In The Park has teamed up with YogaHaven In Clapham Common to offer a weekly beginner's class in tai chi. Yoga Haven is just a minute's walk from Clapham Common tube.
If you have any questions about whether tai chi is right for you, please contact us by email or on the phone and we’ll be really happy to chat.
