My name is Suryacitta Malcolm Smith. I am the author of Happiness and How it Happens - Finding contentment through mindfulness and teacher of mindfulness. I have been practising mindfulness since 1991 and recently spent four years in a Meditation retreat centre in Noth Wales teaching and practising.
I run Mindfulness CIC a not for profit, community interest company offering courses and workshops on mindfulness for the public, business and healthcare in Leicestershire, UK and Europe.

This course is CPD Accredited and certificates can be provided on request.
Each evening there will be guided sessions of mindfulness meditation, discussion and time for question and answers. Suitable for both complete beginners and those who want to refresh their practice.

The cost includes lunch on all four days. The course is run in a relaxed and informal way. As well as the practice of sitting mindfulness you will learn mindfulness techniques to apply when at home and work when times get tough.

Weekend Retreat
The retreat is suitable for anybody wanting to learn mindfulness or to take their existing practice deeper. During the weekend there will be guided meditation, time to relax and unwind and teaching on mindfulness and compassion meditation.
Newtown Linford is in the heart of Charnwood Forest and Sunnyside House is two minutes walk from Bradgate Deer Park, the ancestral home of Lady Jane Gray. During the retreat there will be opportunities for discussion on mindfulness and compassion meditation and the option of one to one time with Suryacitta to discuss your personal practice in private. There will be time to walk in the park anf enjoy its beautiful scenery.
