Unidos de Londres/London School of Samba have taught Samba drumming and dancing to over 26,000 individuals and have performed for over 1.5 million people. We offer weekly open access workshops and maintain a roster of clients including the BBC, Tate Modern, and Royal Festival Hall.

We are open and welcoming to all; anyone of any age, background, gender, or ability can join the school and have the opportunity to parade at Carnivals and work to perform on stage with us at our events.

Our workshops take place on Sundays from 6pm at the Waterloo Action Centre, SE1

Group Classes

Samba dance/Percussion Workshop

Beginnners/Intermediate dance 6-7.30pm.
All levels percussion 7.30pm-9.30pm

Prices include entrance to both dance and drumming classes. No need for prior experience, we have a policy of total inclusion.

DANCE
Our dance classes focus on the vibrant and colorful spirit of Brazilian Carnival and Samba. The main focus of dance at LSS is samba no pe, the practice of the samba step. However, dancers also learn samba reggae and other steps. We have two levels of classes so whether you’re a total beginner or an intermediate level dancer just turn up and have a go!

MUSIC
Our drumming classes are one big noisy family, banging hard-hitting rhythms and breaks. Learn to play Rio style Samba, Samba Reggae, Afoxê, Ilê Aiyê, and Mozambiqué with absolutely the best teachers. Fun, furious, and funky, absolutely all levels are welcome! No prior experience necessary! Do you have a heart beat? Then you too can drum!
