Established in 2000, Fabrications shop and studio was set up by designer maker Barley Massey as a space to develop her own sustainable textile practise and promote other like minded local designers and artists. Over the last 12 years Fabrications has evolved into a buzzing hub of creativity offering stylish handmade goods, knitting and sewing supplies, books and kits. Offering a commissioning service including the unique 'Remember Me' service, as well as a range of craft classes and events suitable for all ages and abilities. The classes are either taught by Barley or one of the talented designer maker's in Fabrications fold! 'The Imaginerium' is now open! A beautifully designed modern space designed by DM Architects, on the back of Fabrications. Wonderfully light and unique, a fully equipped workroom with tables, and chairs, sewing machines, dress maker's dummies, sinks and a specially designed upcycled kitchen and worktop area and bathroom made by 'Out of the Dark', tiling by Dominic Crinson and textile furnishings by in house designer maker Barley Massey.
