Private Singing Lessons

Firstly, ALL my lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs.
I work with singers of all ages and abilities, from Male Bass to Female Sopranos and ‘flute sounding falsetto’s’ helping to enhance and develop their unique sound. Whether you are interested in taking up Singing as a new hobby, or to improve your singing voice as a professional in a band or the theatre, I can definitely help you.

We can explore different genres of music or specific styles if preferred and work on developing your performance technique too. (I also teach Microphone technique and prep for Auditions for those who require it as well as offer opportunities to take singing exam grades 1-8 with various leading examining boards).

You will learn; all about vocal health and how to maintain it, how to broaden your range so you’ll be able to can sing higher and lower. You'll learn how to breathe correctly whilst singing (which will enable you to do more vocal gymnastics such as sustaining notes, vibrato, adding dynamics, inflections and riffing), as well as learning how to use your body more, to support your voice. We'll do warm ups, vocal strengthening exercises and teach you how to sing with more power than you can now! You will learn how to master many singing techniques and gain more vocal control, working at your own pace before moving onto more developed training.

Singing is great for our overall well-being as it gives our body, mind and soul a terrific workout, especially our vocal chords, lungs and diaphragm. It is also a great way to release stress, anger and enhance positive emotions. Anyone can produce a noise.
