Clarinet Lessons
The Clarinet is the latest addition to the list of instruments that I play and teach and therefore I only teach beginners. After this level I encourage students to progress to a specialist Clarinet teacher. I found that all the principles I have learned through my study of the flute at University are transferrable to the other woodwind instruments and the things that are different I have learned through careful study and experimentation.
Lessons take place every week during term time from my home studio. I have a good sense of humour and aim to make lessons varied, enjoyable and fun. I use an integrated approach to teach pieces, scales, aural skills, sight-reading and theory as everything is interconnected so none of these areas ever need to be neglected or left until the last couple of weeks before an exam.
