Pilates instructors - volunteer and expand your experience!

Last winter I volunteered at a night shelter for homeless people and was inspired to get more involved.

I'm currently creating Pilates Street, a London-based project to link up Pilates instructors with organisations working with people living in or recovering from homelessness, addiction and or mental health issues, to offer free Pilates sessions to their clients.

If you're interested in taking part in the project, please visit this link to find out more and get in touch!

    Casa Verde's Nicaraguan site

This is a view from the beautiful Casa Verde site in Nicaragua.

Casa Verde’s Student Center in Nicaragua is being built using sustainable materials and indigenous practices to the furthest extent possible. This supports not only a healthy and engaged lifestyle at Casa Verde, but all infrastructure and buildings will be used as a living educational tools. The facility itself will be a model to demonstrate how to replicate these practices and give students hands on experience with green and alternative systems.

    Time's Up! An Uncivilized Solution

What kind of life do you want, and what are you willing to do to get it? Author Keith Farnish sees industrial civilization as the most destructive way of living yet devised by humans. And it's over: environmental degradation and depletion tell us it can't continue. The system has myriad ways to make us believe we can't live without it. But Keith believes we can - there are countless ways to move forward into contented, happy, and full lives. We can "disengage" and reconnect with the natural world, ourselves, and others. Any interest in joining a Stoke Newington/North London food co-operative? (credit crunch times!)

    Hi all,

Would anyone be interested in getting together a
group of people to place organic wholesale food
orders? Many wholesalers will accept a minimum
order of £400 or so placed by a private group and
you can get huge savings on pantry items such as
tinned tomatoes, beans, pasta, oils, grains,
    spices, wine, ecological cleaning products....

Please email me if you're interested!

    Thanks
