Hi,

I'm a trained and qualified Restorer, hold an Adult Teaching qualification and teach a wide variety of Restoration and Craft skills. I'm based in Lincoln, but can arrange accommodation for students from outside the area if needed.

I tend to run workshops on the basis of agreeing with a student a suitable day for us both, rather than picking dates out of the air and trying to find people who can come on those days. I find it works much better this way and allows for 1-to-1 tuition, which is obviously better for the student.

That said, if you can find one or more friends who would also like to come, you do get a substantial discount on your own workshop.

Workshops are usually held in my light and airy studio in Bracebridge Heath in Lincoln but larger groups can be taught at a local country house hotel at no extra cost.

I am happy to hold workshops on any day of the week, including Sundays and Bank Holidays.

The day runs nominally from 9.30am to 4.30pm – nominally because I’m not strict to time, as it’s always a very full day. I prefer you to comfortably finish what you’re making, with no time pressures.

1-Day Workshops include -

- All tuition, hints, tips and info for getting the best from your chosen subject
- All necessary materials to make the designated project/s
- Use of all required tools and facilities
- A notebook for your workshop jottings
- Refreshments on tap all day
- A good lunch at the local pub!
- Ongoing email support if required

Longer/more advanced courses can always be arranged if desired.
