On Being StillThis was an excellent interview I carried out in 2007 at the international ISSSEEM conference on science of energy medicine and consciousness in Boulder CO, USA. It was carried out by a fantastic husband and wife team who run the equally excellent Conscious Media Network. Check them out - free video on interesting topics. Mark |
Irony
I realised this week that I have started:
1) a website to promote curiosity and learning;
2) a consultancy advising people on harnessing human sociability; and
3) a campaign to help people be more conscious of how to manage their minds.
And so now I:
1) have no time to learn anything;
2) never see my friends; and
3) am really stressed.
The irony of this is not lost on me.
Digital Health Service
My friend Gavin runs this great service that runs workshops in 'digital health' and provides tools to help people have more positive and productive relationships with technology. I may need to book myself an appointment...
The Mindapples Test
What's the mental health equivalent of five-a-day? Take the test and decide for yourself what *you* can do to manage your mind.
Digital Health
I've been thinking a lot about my relationship with technology lately, which is a big deal for someone in my line of work. In particular I've really been struggling to keep up with my level of incoming mail. Every day my inboxes are fuller than the day before. I hate being rude to people, and e-mail seems to be the quickest way to stack up uncompleted tasks. (And don't even get me started on Facebook.)
Unlimited Resources
Every member of School of Everything can add notes, links, videos, images, documents and other things to the site that help people learn or teach a particular subject. If you're learning, you can use it to keep track of your progress in your subjects and all the things that help you learn like useful websites or how-to videos.
If you're teaching, you can share useful resources and advice that you think will help people learn you subjects. You can tag each resource post with one or more subjects, and your posts will appear to other people looking for those subjects.
Don't be shy, say hello. We'd love to hear from you.
